Has anybody asked Bob Thompson? The issue for me is not so much WHO is appointed to these committees meeting in private, rather the fact they are meeting in private. The members of the group may have some peripheral importance only insomuch as the the private Facilities Planning Group was declared off limits to board members even attending (something I find incomprehensible) but perhaps Pete Gomsak is a member of the private committee on golf. Maybe you or others are pleased with this veil of secrecy descending over OPA, but I'm not. Regardless of any law, these meetings should be open to association members. It's time for the board to put an end to it. |
