Thanks for confirming what others have been telling me. I think Casper is saying there is a problem with some of the grasses used. Regardless of the source or cause of the problem, the problem is a bummer.

Strictly a few golfers opinions but since this is a forum.   Word was out among some golfers that the wrong fertilizer was used which contributed to the dieing off of grass.  Apparently to try and make place look presentable for some golf tournaments  the bare spots were sprayed green. Perhaps Ron Popeil has been hired.                                                                                     Another rumor was that the golf operations had funneled their budget into the driving range thus leaving less for greens maintenance.

All this is happening as we enter the second busy golf season of the year.
