Joe, I asked because I don't know the details of any committee. As for the rest, I look forward to the ruling from the appropriate state body so the issue can be put to bed. I am in to see this through this time so whatever happens, the board or the state, open or closed, I will deal with it. Ted |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Has anybody asked Bob Thompson? The issue for me is not so much WHO is appointed to these committees meeting in private, rather the fact they are meeting in private. The members of the group may have some peripheral importance only insomuch as the the private Facilities Planning Group was declared off limits to board members even attending (something I find incomprehensible) but perhaps Pete Gomsak is a member of the private committee on golf. Maybe you or others are pleased with this veil of secrecy descending over OPA, but I'm not. Regardless of any law, these meetings should be open to association members. It's time for the board to put an end to it. |
