Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Golf Rumblings Msg# 802750

The number of problems are growing while few are solved. Plus the potential expenditure of millions of OPA dollars. And what do we as members get in return? All we've heard about for years is some five or seven year plan to pump (apparently now it's more like dump) lots and lots of money into improving the golf course. And now we're told that the course is reportedly in terrible shape. Where have all the dollars gone? We need some leadership from somewhere?! For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe and Ted, I personally don't care if meetings are held in private or in the open as long as the goings on in the meetings are published and the damn problems are solved. The number of problems are growing while few are solved. Public meetings can at times be difficult to manage, private meetings foster suspicion. We need some leadership from somewhere?! Frank |
