Public meetings can at times be difficult to manage Oh? I don't think OPA has any problem at all with board meetings or committee meetings open to association members. Perhaps you are confusing town hall meetings with board or committee meetings. Association members can attend board or committee meetings but have no right to engage in any discussion or debate, just the right for a reasonable time for public comment at some point in the meeting. I personally don't care if meetings are held in private or in the open as long as the goings on in the meetings are published Now that is a real laugher. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe and Ted, I personally don't care if meetings are held in private or in the open as long as the goings on in the meetings are published and the damn problems are solved. The number of problems are growing while few are solved. Public meetings can at times be difficult to manage, private meetings foster suspicion. We need some leadership from somewhere?! Frank |
