Hi Joe, I have been playing golf at OP for about 8 years. This is the worst by far. It wasn't so bad last year during the drought. The significant difference this year is that supertentandent Goldman and his top assistant were let go and Casper has been in charge all year period. This is the only difference from last year to this year. Casper Golf should be held entirely accountable. Iam an afternoon member and frequently bring friends and relatives to play. Not so much this year for obvious reasons. Frank |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It has been hit hard with the aerator and reseeded but what surprises me is that it is one of the fairways that I watched being done completely over as part of the multi million dollar redoing of the course. Thanks for confirming what others have been telling me. I think Casper is saying there is a problem with some of the grasses used. Regardless of the source or cause of the problem, the problem is a bummer. |
