Let's follow your logic, So I don't want you to subsidize our golf, let's say we don't renew our membership for 2012 in May...Now what does that do for you and the heavy subsidy you pay for me to play at the pines?
I don't understand-- for me, not that unusual. Not renewing your membership changes nothing. Now, if a hundred of your fellow members followed suit, then we'd have a real interesting situation. I'd still be paying to kill acres of crab grass; however, to the extent today's kids are physically unfit, they then would have a place to run free and fly their kites. Don't worry about the revenue stream that Op would lose and the outside play that golf members bring in and the money spent at terns grille and the pro shop... Oh! that revenue stream. You mean the one that if a ball lands in it, it's still PLAYABLE? |

Instead we join Ocean Resorts and BTW Ocean Resorts is cheaper to join then Ocean Pines ,just got an email from them soliciting memberships. Now what does that do for you and the heavy subsidy you pay for me to play at the pines?
