I hope you really do not expect me to debate employee performance here on the forum. I think if you look closely at the performance chart you will find that the majority of blame for the losses at the Yacht Club can be placed on the board of directors. The board can deligate authority but not responsibility. As I remember it you were very happy with the so called resignation of Pudge Rupert. Well, when one looks at the numbers for the last four years Pudge ran the operation the average loss was -$101,178.00. The next four years after Pudge left the average loss has been -$116,513.00 and that is including the best year ever. How's that for progress? Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tom Olson did a pretty good job at following the board's direction. We reduced payroll significantly and had only one food and beverage manager and no full time chef. The result was a $138,320.00 improvement in the bottom line. $67,229.00 was improvement in payroll alone. Was that the reason you voted to fire Mr. Olson and to hire Mr. Thompson? We are now suffering the from that change. Your right there. |
