| We tend to forget that Choptank's reputation in the OP community was nasty in the 80's when all of their underground lines suffered from water incursion on a regular basis. I also seem to remember that the turnaround came when Chase sold or gave land to Choptank to build its power transmitting station on Chase roperty. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We may have a good electric company, but what keeps the power going here is that the lines are underground and not subject to service interruption due to downed trees, the primary culprit in many places. |
