as I do not see it receeding very much from our canal.
Never does recede much in a storm situation unless wind direction shifts dramatically. Northeast winds are what bring the highest tides. With landfall up in New Jersey, it is areas north of landfall where the highest tides will be seen, due to the counter-clockwise rotation of the storm. We will have another rather high tide this evening but I doubt it will be much different than this morning in terms of height over bulkheads. Our main issue this evening will be wind and potentially extreme rainfall. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe What can I say. I type at times like our VP speaks. And at least you know where I stand. Most importantly be safe. I also think the water will be higher tonight then earlier today as I do not see it receeding very much from our canal. |
