| I have only a home in Montgomery County to compare the fees to, and in that community, everything was included--swimming, tennis, community center, etc. And the fee which was billed quarterly, also included twice a week trash and recycling pickup, and grass cutting, both front and back yard. The fees were more than reasonable for the services and amenities included, and although there was a HOA BoD, they all had lives outside of the community, and no one did the campaigning, etc. to get elected as is done here. They also had an outside property management company which took care of maintenance, etc., and which seemed to be a sensible choice rather than try to maintain a full time staff, equipment, supplies, and such. | ||||||
