Any new board members are likely to find it very difficult to do much about the spending you mention. It's kind of like new congress members getting Potomac Fever, lets call it Pines Fever.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks for your comments, Joe. Just fail to understand how the average resident can stop the bleeding. In 1987 when I bought in Ocean Pines the association fees were I thing $235.00 a year I guess the only way to have a say on reasonable association fees is to leave. Then you don't have to pay them at all. Don't by the home values are higher becasue of the amenities availability. One has to pay additional fees to enjoy most amenities other than ponds, walking trails and bike lanes, I believe. Thanksa agin for you comments, now lets vote in some folks who do not like to spend. |
