Don't hold your breath.
I predict a scenario like the following if Steen gets enough signatures to petition to referendum: The board will either refuse to go to referendum, or if it does, and the vote is for a park, then the board will refuse to make it a park. Groups other than Steen's will be hiring lawyers. The board will lawyer up. Steen will be forced to go to court. OPA will appeal any adverse decision all the way to the Maryland Court of Appeals. |
