In this case one must be careful in what we vote for as we might just get it. But what will we be getting. No one has defined what this park should be and it appears to be have different meanings to different members. From open space to walking paths to putt putt golf to jungle Jim's and skate board parks.
We may want change but it would be nice to know what that change entails |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Don't hold your breath. I predict a scenario like the following if Steen gets enough signatures to petition to referendum: The board will either refuse to go to referendum, or if it does, and the vote is for a park, then the board will refuse to make it a park. Groups other than Steen's will be hiring lawyers. The board will lawyer up. Steen will be forced to go to court. OPA will appeal any adverse decision all the way to the Maryland Court of Appeals. |
