The point I alluded to was that the plated easements had to be squeezed into lots where they were not originally intended
I don't know what you mean. The easements were in the plat from Day One. The easements were intended from Day One. and as indicated was not intended to be a park but a canal I think that is the case with an area up around Boston Drive but I have no evidence Wood Duck Park was intended by Steen to be a canal. Do you? So Joe in your great wisdom, what is the solution? Can't resist, can you? Anyway, to use what you call my "great wisdom," it is an OPA owned park open to association members. All entrances to the park should be properly marked. It is not brain surgery. They were all marked a few years ago. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I don't doubt that there are plated easements to enter wood duck park as you and others have indicated. The point I alluded to was that the plated easements had to be squeezed into lots where they were not originally intended and on a small scale maps like the one I referred to can not be shown. The so called "park" in my opinion is much more intimate to the adjacent lots than is the case with lots adjacent the other parks in OP and as indicated was not intended to be a park but a canal. The problem is that anyone using the "park" are going to be in rather close proximity to the surrounding lots especially at the near end. So to the alleviate the problem OP staff have chosen to ignore the obvious sign removal hoping to minimize or eliminate the complaints from the surrounding properties when those intending to used the "park" block driveways, congest streets and get to close. So Joe in your great wisdom, what is the solution? Frank |
