Joe, for what it's worth I checked out LU with a close friend of mine who writes for a golf magazine and works for a company that owns among other things the AMF golf equipment business as well as Sea Pines and Kiawah Island just to mention a couple so I think it's fair to say he knows a little bit about course management companies. He said bringing in LU is the smartest thing we could have done. He said they will do a great job, he also said they are outstanding people.
For what it's worth he also told me a year ago that Casper was probably the worst manager we could have hired. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: since it appears the contract is still in early negotiation. Indeed. All the board voted to do is to select a company, Landscapes Unlimited, to begin contract negotiations with. I don't think everyone realizes LU has not been hired at this point. All the more reason Thompson's comments were totally out of order. |
