I believe you, among others, pointed this out and were correct in saying that this was a negative.
Just to keep factual -- I was initially a supporter of Thompson becoming GM. Also to keep factual -- the two primary board members behind the firing of Olson and hiring of fellow board member Bob Thompson as GM were Bill Rakow and Marty Clarke. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thompson is the first GM in my memory that did not have professional experience in this field before he was hired. I believe you, among others, pointed this out and were correct in saying that this was a negative. I think we are seeing just how negative. And again, as has been pointed out in this thread, he was a member of the board before he became the GM. Again, a first time occurrence. All in all, not a good situation. |
