For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There was talk in the press [ local papers ] that the new Board would revisit the G.M.'s compensation package after the election last August. They can revisit all they choose. However, the GM has a CONTRACT that goes for three years I believe. I believe you misunderstood what was in the paper. I think what you saw was something about revisiting any bonus amounts, and they are subject to a review each year. In other words it's the G.M. that decides which group will pay how much? Then he runs it by the Board? Why isn't there a list of charges available in advance so that everyone can see that the system is fair? Yes, that's generally how it works. I don't know about a list of charges; did you ask if there was one or are you just assuming there is no list? |
