Joe, someone, Mr. Stevens to be more precise, needs to inform Mr. Thompson, in the strongest possible terms, that although he was elected to the position of Director, he relinquished all of the duties, responsibilities and powers of that position when he signed an employment contract as General Manager. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I also take exception to the GM calling members "my members". They are our members, the associations. I noted that as well. This word construction goes along with how I believe Thompson views his position... one of a CEO in charge of everything, rather than an employee of the board. |
