Heineken for ten cents a bottle... "Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end"
My fondest memories of the green bottle involved drinking them at 8:00 on Saturday morning in the Lajes Club after an overnight flight from the US to the Azores. Then ten hours later, on to Torrejón Air Base in Spain to drop off the cargo. 24 hours there with dinner in Madrid and then return. Next day, back at Chase explaining how I spent my long weekend. |
