For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I know it's just a sampling of the membership, but if you were to do a "forum poll" regarding bringing the golf course situation to referendum,I would bet that there would be a majority in favor of converting it to a park to better suit the majority of homeowners. I would base no decision on any poll. It is purely my opinion, but I believe an expansive open space park in lieu of a money-losing golf course would increase home values. One thing is painfully obvious -- our golf course is not a major attraction for home buyers or we would have more than 115 or so golf members. |
