As far as I know, only the board an the budget and finance committee get to see the budget as proposed by the GM. I am not sure if this is a board or GM decision. As a member of the B&F committee we get the proposed budget and spend 3 days in January reviewing it with the GM and department Managers, with most of the board in attendance.Advise me if you have any questions
Yes. I have a question. As a member of the Budget & Finance Committee how come you don't know that the budget book is placed in the Admin lobby right after it is presented to the board and the committee? Anyone can walk in and review the proposed budget. The issue is why isn't the proposed budget placed online at the same time it is available in the lobby. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, the budget is not made available as proposed, only as approved. As far as I know, only the board an the budget and finance committee get to see the budget as proposed by the GM. I am not sure if this is a board or GM decision. The B&F committee makes written recommendations to the board, which either accepts or ignores as they see fit. Advise me if you have any questions Regards.......................John |
