I believe the parking money is deserved by Aquatics. Perhaps even more than what you are now receiving. However, if management then makes bottom line comparisons with prior years that do not mention the $50,000 (or whatever is allocated from parking to Aquatics), then management is conning association members.
While you and your team are doing a good job, association members should also know the truth that the bottom line in Aquatics is as much as $80,000 to $100,000 better solely due to the transfer of income from parking to Aquatics and savings as a result of Marty Clarke's insistence on going to tanked propane. As another forum member mentioned, the board should consider selling separate parking passes and separate pool passes at the Beach Club. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Funny :)I do want to point out for clarification that the parking money that was "given to us" (although we have different opinions on the given part, which of course is ok) has already been included in the membership line of what was expected of this fiscal year (278,000) so the revenue that is being brought in and showing such strides, is strictly that, revenue. And that credit goes to my team who works very hard to bring the best. February of this year we had 1200 more visitors at Sports Core over last February, and that is apples to apples. |
