Just curious.. so do you think aquatics should have just started each season in the hole running a pool with no profit?
I don't think you are doing the Aquatics department any good arguing about this accounting change. Seems to me most folks, including me, think you and your team are doing a good job. Why continue to beat on the accounting process change. The accounting process does not change anything related to your operation of the pools. PS -- I hope you feel free to post messages about what is going on at the pools and promote those activities here. That is more important than accounting process. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Just curious.. so do you think aquatics should have just started each season in the hole running a pool with no profit? The expenses to run that pool is around 47-48 grand and it only brought in on average 4 grand a summer losing aquatics 44 grand just at that pool. Mumfords was our second busiest outdoor pool with over 19 thousand people and it brought in $54 grand this past summer. Big difference. |
