Given the probable number of 10,000 beach club pool passes, if the board allocated just $5.00 per pass for the entire swim season that would equate to the $50,000 allocated to aquatics from the Parking Pass Program.
Interesting, especially since OPA says the swim passes are "FREE." Those passes are worth much more than $5. The issue here for me is not Aquatics management, rather a change in accounting procedure that does not change one thing in Aquatics operational work. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yet another sales job on the board by the GM. If you think about the probable numbers I don't see it as a sales job in the negative sense. Given the probable number of 10,000 beach club pool passes, if the board allocated just $5.00 per pass for the entire swim season that would equate to the $50,000 allocated to aquatics from the Parking Pass Program. Five dollars does not even equal the cost of a one day pool pass. It could well be that aquatics actually deserved more money than was allocated. |
