"Mr. Herrick and Mr. Stevens had both discussed the motion made by Mr. Herrick prior to the meeting and they were the only two to have a written copy of the motion" What I found most disturbing about this entire fiasco was the admission at the Tuesday's meeting that some of our Directors met and spoke of this project illegally and in direct violation of the HOA 11B-111, last Thursday after the open meeting. Not at all surprising behavior from Tom Terry, but, on the other hand Ms. Jacobs is constantly touting her credentials as an attorney at law and should have know better. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think what Dave was getting at is why pass your second motion (a standalone one) that tells the GM to look into using existing tennis courts for pickleball courts and adding a paddleball court. Why indeed. Probably because Mr. Herrick and Mr. Stevens had both discussed the motion made by Mr. Herrick prior to the meeting and they were the only two to have a written copy of the motion. Mr. Stevens understands that passing the motion will result in a much lower cost for acquiring four dedicated pickleball courts and additional paddleball courts. Knowing this, it would have been silly for Stevens and Collins to vote against the motion. |
