I think that if a GM doesn't act on a safety report on his own, the function of a board is to look for his replacement.
To take that one step further, in the instance of the playground, if the Facilities Manager for OP and or the Director of Parks & Recreation do not act on a safety report involving a children's playground, the GM should be considering their replacement. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As a former president of the board, do you actually believe that "directing the GM to act on the (safety) report" is a function of the board? I think that if a GM doesn't act on a safety report on his own, the function of a board is to look for his replacement. |
