I absolutely agree that the board should not have to micromanage the GM, but we currently have a GM who cannot be relied upon to even maintain a children's playground.
Or rehang doors that fell off the women's toilets at the Beach Club. Even if the motion fails, it will open a window into the smoke and mirrors being used to hide current practices or lack thereof. Sounds something like the Stevens approach. To expose. Does not work. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I absolutely agree that the board should not have to micromanage the GM, but we currently have a GM who cannot be relied upon to even maintain a children's playground. Lacking the votes necessary to replace the GM, the least a director in the minority can do is bring deficiencies to the attention of the membership by making motions such as I suggested. Even if the motion fails, it will open a window into the smoke and mirrors being used to hide current practices or lack thereof. |
