You have no idea what the facilities manager is reporting to the GM as it relates to what needs to be done.
Nor do you. The only two who know that is the Facilities Manager and the GM. What I do know is if the Facilities Manager is aware that maintenance needs to be accomplished for whatever reason, and fails to act on that information, then the Facilities Manager needs to be held accountable. How does one manage facilities and not be held accountable to act on known maintenance needs? Maintenance people only do what they are told to do by the GM. Nonsense. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You could not be more wrong. You have no idea what the facilities manager is reporting to the GM as it relates to what needs to be done. Rec dept can only report to GM. Has no authority to hire contractors or direct public works to fix it repair anything nor does the facilities manager. Maintenance people only do what they are told to do by the GM. |
