Back in the early 70's, I was staying at a Holliday Day Inn on Carrier Circle. We were hit with a 30" overnight snowstorm. The wind was such that an entire wing of the Holliday was covered over. Men were in the parking lot shoveling DOWN to get to their cars! | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Back in the 70's a guy told me that Syracuse had over SIX feet of snow over a weekend, Friday evening through Sunday evening. I said no way and bet him $100 he was wrong. We called the National Weather Service, total snowfall during the period.....SEVENTY FOUR INCHES.....I haven't spoke to him since!
