The ship I was on (Yea that one up there) anchored off Rockport over a July 4 weekend. There was a lobster fest on the beach. A whole lobster and ear of corn went for... you ready for this?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We had all the moose meat and potatoes we could eat. Maine is famous for its lobsters of course but we never saw one. Lobster country was a 4 hour drive South. We were so far North that we had perpetual clearance to enter Canadian airspace on take off since by the time we had gear up, we were Canadian. |
