I agree totally! Horn pubicly speaking- and whomever else it may have been- about Colby and her qualifications were extremely unprofessional. Horn always tauts her own ‘Doctor’ title- but then for her to discuss and openly attempt to what she feels is to downsize an employee in management position of OP, is totally concerning . Emloyees should not be verbally treated in such a manner. I do hope when people vote, they take this prejudice view in mind. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: However, Colette Horn (and possibly others), based on reporting in a local paper, apparently opposes Colby's hiring as GM because she does not have a college degree. Sorry, Joe, if the above are not your words, I may have copied from another, but I must say this: Aside from the idiotic comments vis a vis college degree, what the hell are OPA officials doing publicizing their personal opinions of OPA-employee qualifications for promotion? It would be fine if it was said that "we prefer our candidate possess a BA or BS." But, it appears to me that Colby was under discussion and the fools revealed, to whomever was the least bit interested, that Colby doesn't fit the bill, as it were. Colby's a better person than I. Were they publicly commenting on my personal qualifications, sans my participation, I'd find a mouthpiece, somewhere, to take up my cause, and go for the 1.1 million sitting there in our "Rainy Day" |
