I was involved in the earlier conversation on the project. If OPA was able to secure an easement to a pond the developer had planned the elevations were workable to allow flow from Bainbridge to the pond across Beauchamp Road.
Thanks for confirming that. Since it now appears an easement is not possible the project is being modified. Why did we proceed to design a project without some guarantee of where the water was to go? Suppose the state had given us a grant for the entire $1.6 million, as we requested? Where will increased water flow go as a result of the "modified" project? |
