Thanks for bringing up that fiasco. And a BIG YES.  That's the kind of expenditure where the board powers need to be limited. That's at the center of the upcoming referendum.

Maybe you can outline some more of those details, of how there was some hidden negotiating, and there was almost a major commitment made, behind the scenes.  Been a while ago, so we need a bit more info to recall of those facts. Several questions like: How much was the price tag for that piece of golf course land??  What was the zoning??  What purpose, beside golf would that land be used for??
