Gosh Marty, I surely don’t want to see you wasting time on anyone who disagrees with you. 
As for your comment that the property would not solve our drainage problems, perhaps you missed the design that Colby Phillips and Worcester County worked out to dump water from that area of OP into a storm water pond the developer was to build on the property. If you caused OPA to not purchase that property, you sure did not do any favors for the membership. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: As one would expect you and I were on different sides of this board endeavor. I was elected to the board by the majority of our membership who supported my opposition to this wasteful spending. BTW, for the record, the property sold to a local real estate developer for less then OPA offered. The bank in Hartford County didn’t like dealing with, and I quote, our “amateur“ board. I won’t waste any more time commenting on the ridiculous notion that this property could solve our drainage issues because it doesn’t. Marty |
