I'd favor the Slobodan restriction, which we'll soon be voting on. $ 1 million is an appropriate restriction, IMO. You're correct to imply there's fiscal conservatism views, in our household.
And I quite possibly would have voted Yea on a referendum to acquire that land, upon reviewing those studies. Was it a holding pond planned? What percentage of that land?? Planned uses for remaining land?? Where would occasional overflows be routed? All up front Q&A's with requisite formalities, Not a back room deal. |

Use of that property to get rid of our water was not a quickly surmised option. Again, you were not paying attention. There were engineered drawings, county involvement, and approval of the project with some state grant funding. |
