| It appears from your call to Wolf that he did not correct the mischaracterization in the July minutes when it was approved the following month. Could have he then left the impression among his committee members that the GM/Board were withholding the second report that was done seven months earlier because it contained "bad news"? Was he unaware that several of his committee members had real concerns? He is the chairman and the committee does meet monthly. Wolf should submit a motion at the next committee meeting correcting the record and asking for a unanimous vote in favor after discussing his role and Marty's in this mischaracterization. Otherwise, the record leaves the distinct impression that the board chose to stonewall its own environmental committee on matters within its purview. | ||||||

Raw sewage leaking into a public pond where kids play?????<<< Getting back to your comment above, that is why liaison Janasek did not want to release results everyone involved believed to be inaccurate. Even after committee members eventually received the second test result with a much lower number for the item of concern, Marty posted here he was still concerned. Why? Presumably because he did not know what the numbers in the report meant. High or low. The report, sent to me by Marty, contained the name of the company doing the tests at the top of the report. Rather than agonize over why it took so long for the report to get from the liaison to the board or why the board was at fault and involved in some coverup, I called the testing company. Verdict? Tempest in a teapot. |
