Cute. But I never suggested you mentioned support. You mentioned cost. I said people here support that cost.
It is also important to recognize the DRs require OPA to provide some sort of internal protection. That was initially a rent-a-cop at the north gate, if my memory is correct. The evolution from that to a state fully sanctioned police department resulted in the cost you reference, but I believe it is a cost supported overwhelmingly by association members. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: I didn’t say anything about supporting or not supporting our Ocean Pines Police Department. All I was trying to convey is the fact that in 2021-2022 our Association assessment contributed $1,452,763.00 additional dollars over and above our tax provided police coverage, County and State.
