Section 5: OPA Board Subject: A Matter of Trust Msg# 1156373

I was not talking about whether Peck sending you a PRIVATE message with the contents you chose to reveal was appropriate. Nor did I ask if it was appropriate for you to reveal the contents of a private message.
I asked about your comment of: "I wonder why someone with a record puts herself out there. If it were me, I would try to be unseen.” This all, of course, begs the question of why anyone would now trust you with any private correspondence. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: …Did you also happen to hear what Dinah told the board her reaction was in regard to the private message from Amy Peck about Diller? Hoffmeister responds to Peck, "Ok. Thanks. I wonder why someone with a record puts herself out there. If it were me, I would try to be unseen."… Joe, you realize when I replied to Amy with that comment I didn’t know who Esther was, nor what she did. I was responding to her information that she shared. Once I knew the story, after I did my own research, I realized how totally wrong it was for a director to reach out to someone unsolicited with that information. |
