Joe - it was you who said an amenity not used is of no benefit. I never suggested keeping out outsiders, nor that everyone could play. Just wondering why in your opinion an HOA fee which includes some insurance coverage is of no benefit but a golf course most of us never use is. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Mark, great idea. Let’s see. If the course costs $1.5 million a year to operate, we can add $175 to the assessment and everyone can play. No outsiders needed. In this current year, assuming a $200,000 operational profit and $500,000 depreciation, all lot owners contribute about $35 to keep the course running. In any year with an operational loss of $100,000 and $500,000 depreciation, all owners pay an astronomical amount of $71 to keep the course open. Truely outrageous. |
