Amy, the 2019 election was for three seats in the board. A total of 8,355 votes were tallied on 3,073 valid ballot. This works out to an average 2.7 votes per ballot. Applying this to the 2022 election gets your variance above 1,000. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It's definitely a minimum discrepancy. For the 2021 election there were 3041 ballots with the ability to vote for two candidates (total possible 6082) but there were only 5652 votes (430 difference). If you think the same percentage of people didn't vote for all 3 possible choices it could be argued the discrepancy is about 800 votes this time. |
