Maybe I'm way off base and someone will correct me but doesn't OPA have the option of simply withdrawing from the case?
No, not as far as I know. Janasek brought the case, not OPA. OPA could issue some decision removing the prior board action but Janasek controls. Why are legal fees in the conversation? Maybe I do not fully understand but from the case originally filed by Bright, Janasek is seeking at least $150,000: WHEREFORE, Plaintiff respectfully requests that this Honorable Court enter |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Okay, I see it in the third from last "Ordered" where it says "pending final disposition of this matter." Maybe I'm way off base and someone will correct me but doesn't OPA have the option of simply withdrawing from the case? Why are legal fees in the conversation? |
