Here is what Nate Douty wrote about when he was fired:
The board did vote to “have me fired” within minutes of my report of the trendic matter. I was accused of “coaching“ employees in their signed statement. False, untrue. Bailey “fires” me with explanation only as “Board no confidence“ with S Phillips as witness to the “I had no choice“ statement. Directors were Parks, Trendic, Horn, Tuttle, Maroney, Diller & Daly. I was only a messenger in the Trendic matter, Bailey was only a messenger in my firing. In the discovery I did learn that an anonymous employee complaint letter against me had been delivered to the board. Bailey was never instructed to investigate it as Daly would now have it per his statement in the August progress. And now Diller has an anonymous critic. As you say you can’t make this up. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Joe ~ This allegation by you and others that the board had anything to do with Amy not getting hired or rehired is outrageous. The board and more clearly this current board has nothing to do with employment of personnel working under the GM in operations. The only person that reports to the board is the GM….PERIOD. And to go further regarding employment law, Maryland is a “At Will“ employment state and can hire, rehire, terminate or rescind any offer of employment with or without cause. Thanks Rick |
