Sat 7/29 afternoon . . . . still no ballot | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I wrote the Elections Committee and the Board of Directors on 7/25 asking them if homeowners crossed out their name on the return ballot envelop if their ballot would be invalidated. I did not receive an answer from the Board or the Committee. I advised homeowners not to mark their envelope in anyway. Unfortunately, I have now learned that there are homeowners who did this, and now their ballot will not count. Is this lack of response from the Committee/Board of Directors another hic-up? I have advised homeowners who have already mailed or dropped off a ballot with the envelope altered so their name wouldn't show to now request a replacement ballot. Considering the work scope provided by Election Trust stated that the cut-off date for replacement ballots was 7/25, I don't even know if that is an option. In other news, we haven't heard of any homeowners who have received an email confirmation that their mail-in ballot was received. |
