Don't know what to add except the Board and the Committee didn't respond to email and other homeowners question about crossing the name out on the return ballot envelope. Meanwhile, homeowners are reporting that they did cross their name out. Another homeowner asked the same question on Get Involved and Stuart Lakernick is reporting that" any marks on the envelope will invalidate your ballot." He is also saying "Although the EC reviewed and modified the election materials, we were not privy to the codes on the return envelope". HIC-UP. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I wrote the Elections Committee and the Board of Directors on 7/25 asking them if homeowners crossed out their name on the return ballot envelop if their ballot would be invalidated. If talking about correcting a selection mistake, it is absolute nonsense that any ballot would be thrown out for following instruction on the ballot. The issue of marking out something on the return ballot is a different issue I advised homeowners not to mark their envelope in anyway. Is it a good idea to advise owners what to do with their ballots? Any advice should be to contact the election committee with any questions. In other news, we haven't heard of any homeowners who have received an email confirmation that their mail-in ballot was received. More nonsense. I think the first ballots were delivered on the 25th. Today is the 28th. |
