Yes...when you brush your teeth and run the water that is potable water and it goes into wastewater treatment center. I suggest water conservation at your home in order to limit the amount of potable water that ends up effluent. We use rain barrels, low flow showerheads, toilets and don't run the water when brushing our teeth

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Amy: ”As far as I know, the effluent is not mixed with any potable water.” Please! Over 85% of the effluent product comes from potable water. Marty |
