They may be closing but apparently not because the state or anyone else is forcing them to do so.
What is your point? I said "Yes and apparently the end of Martins Fish Co. which leaves the commercial fisherman in limbo for selling their catch. Can't blame Martins for taking advantage of the goose that laid the golden egg. The other issue is how far from shore these windmills will actually be located? Originally, like the other windmill sites on the East coast that are 27 miles offshore the number 20 miles is now touted by US wind who says the Federal Govt sets the location don't blame us. US Wind. Yet I know I have read that some windmills may be located as close as 10 miles. These folks have lied their way into success because they know they have the support of the Federal Govt. and the state of Maryland. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I read about the closing of Martins Fish Co. in a local paper quoting a commercial fisherman. They may be closing but apparently not because the state or anyone else is forcing them to do so. Two property owners in the West Ocean City commercial harbor — Martin Holdings LLC and James and April Reese — have approached US Wind about the potential sale of their properties, the company said. Combining the two properties would satisfy the Maryland PSC’s requirement to locate an operations and maintenance facility in the Ocean City region, US Wind said.
