Nothing is hopeless and we do not know for sure Sodel will be managing. We will know soon. I have not been to a Cottage Cafe in years. Are they not doing much business - or what? The YC dining room needs remodeling. Looks too much like a cafeteria. Menu? Everyone has an opinion. We will know there is a good menu when the dining room is busy for lunch and dinner. Any new management should tread carefully when it comes to weekends on the deck. That has been the business aspect making money. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My experience is the same as yours, Joe. We'd show up around 4-4:30 hoping to get a bar stool and often just 1 or 2 people were there. Last summer the fall off was dramatic. Maybe sodel can fix it. If they fail the situation is hopeless. I hope they don't try a cottage cafe clone. That would be DOA IMHO. |
