For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: That's the "hammer clause". A good letter. I always hold my enthusiasm when reading my lawyers' side of the legal argument until I read the answer to the complaint....but it's hard to see what their "compelling' answer might be. I also think that there should be a demand for a full accounting of how the Sanitary Commission got to this point. It's a credible threat but, in any case, I'm not sure that it should even be a negotiating tactic. No matter the effect on "employee morale", how do we insure that it doesn't happen again? Damn the typos!! Full speed ahead!! |
