Hey Joe - There will be no change in the way the owners view and have access to the vote count at the conclusion of the vote counting. I do want to also say that this Elections Committee like the many other committees that we have, is doing the very best job that they can do. This Board is appreciative of the work that they are doing. You are entitled to your opinion, and I'll leave it right there.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi John. I see the Elections Committee just recently had meeting minutes from November 25, 2024 uploaded to the OPA website. The meeting addressed changes to M-06, changes that would eliminate association members knowing the election count results at the conclusion of counting. This issue of knowing results and ability to observe the counting process was something association members fought for years to obtain. Has this board approved removing the ability of the association members to know the vote results at the conclusion of counting and just after candidates receive the result? In fact, even candidates no longer receive results if the board approved these changes proposed by the Elections Committee. Hopefully, the board has not approved these Draconian changes desired by those individuals on the Election Committee last November. |
